White Rock Concerts is a volunteer, not for profit arts organization, established 53 years ago to bring classical music to the White Rock / South Surrey area.
It is a seven concert per year series of concerts, offered by a season subscription only, with no individual concert tickets being sold.
Subscription rates are remarkably low, all seven concerts for less than $20 per concert.
We offer the finest in Canadian and International classical, chamber, opera, and choral artists. In past seasons we have offered artists such as tenor Ben Heppner, the CBC Radio Orchestra, Dame Evelyn Glennie, soprano Jean Stillwell, the Tokyo String Quartet, the male voice choir Chanticleer, as well as major piano soloists such as Anton Kuerti.
We were named the 2007 Canadian Arts Presenter of the Year.
Our Artistic Director is the renowned Impressario and holder of the Order of Canada and Order of B.C., George Zukerman.
Our concert season runs from September to May, with seven concerts. We do not sell individual concert tickets, only season subscriptions
All concerts are Friday evenings at 8:00 p.m. at White Rock Baptist Church - 16th Avenue and 140th Street, Surrey, B.C.
